At the initiative of the Department of Analysis of Macroeconomic Issues of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the international scientific and practical conference «Problems of the economic security of the region in modern conditions» was held in an online format on November 30, 2022 in Dushanbe.
The main item of the conference agenda are the ensuring economic security, labor migration, customs control and information and communication technology.
The representatives of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute for Demographic Research of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research took part in mentioned Conference.
The director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khayriddin, deputy director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurulloev Shafoat, The director of the Institute for Demographic Research of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ryazantsev Sergey Vasilevich, and the head of the Department for Economic Research of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akijanov Kuat, the head of the Department for Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research Anton Dudaronak made speeches at the opening ceremony of the International Conference.
The deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Jurakhonzoda Saodat chaired the first part of the conference entitled «The situation and future prospects of the economic security of the countries of the Central Asia, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation».
The leading specialist of the Department for Private Sector Development and Entrepreneurship of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the deputy director of the Institute of Economics and Demography of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Mirsaidov Avror delivered remark regarding Mechanisms for ensuring the security of intellectual property.
The head of the Department of Economics and Management of the Belarus State Economic University Aleksey Bikov and the senior adviser of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research Demirov Vitaliy delivered their speeches on «Economic security: features of 2022».
The head of the department for strategic research of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akijanov Kuat delivered his speech on «Crisis as an opportunity: ensuring food security and regional development in the conditions new stabilization».
Uzokov Murad, the head of the department of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered his speech on «Regional cooperation — an important factor in ensuring economic security».
The senior research fellow in the Center of Economic Studies of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies Nikolai Nikolayevich Troshin, and senior research fellow in Center of Economic Studies of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, professor of the Department of American Studies of the Russian State University for the Humanities Zarina Abdurakhmonova delivered their speeches on «Economic threats to all Central Asian countries on the margins of modern geopolitical exchange» and on «Russia-Tajikistan relations: basin problems and potential points».
The second part of the conference was held related to problems of economic and social migration of labor immigration and its impact on economic security. The director of the Institute for Demographic Research of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ryazantsev Sergey Vasilevich, the associate professor of the Department of national and International Law of the Turan University Alaeva Gulnoz Tursunovna and the leading specialist of the Department for research on social issues of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Boboev Anvar delivered their speeches.
The conference took place in a friendly atmosphere and mutual understanding.
